What data we collect
We collect the minimum needed to operate the app:
- Shop domain — to identify which store installed the app
- Subscription status — Free or Premium
- Shopify access tokens — for authentication and metafield sync
What we do NOT collect
- No customer / shopper personal data
- No browsing history or purchase data from your storefront visitors
- No tracking or analytics pixels from this app on your storefront
How particle rendering works
All effects render in visitors' browsers via HTML5 Canvas. No data is sent to our servers when a customer views your storefront. Theme assets are served from Shopify's CDN.
Data storage
Subscription status and session tokens are stored in Cloudflare D1 (encrypted at rest by the platform). Data is not sold or shared with third parties except as required to operate on Shopify.
GDPR
We implement Shopify mandatory privacy webhooks: shop/redact, customers/redact, and customers/data_request. We do not store customer PII, so redact/data-request responses are empty acknowledgements. On uninstall, shop data is cleared.
